Cookie
Policy.

Learn how we use cookies to make your study sessions smoother, safer, and more personalized.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and provide information to the owners of the site. At Clevate, we use them to remember your login session and your study preferences across different devices.

Essential Cookies

Required for the Platform to function. These are the Supabase authentication cookies (names beginning with sb-) that keep you signed in and protect against request forgery. Without them you cannot stay logged in or reach your workspace. They last for your session (and up to one year if you remain active). You cannot opt out of these while using the product.

Preference Local Storage

First-party browser local storage keys that remember your choices: theme, low-data mode, guide/tutorial progress, and your cookie choice itself (tamovi-cookies-accepted). These never leave your device, contain no personal identifiers beyond what you chose, and can be cleared from your browser at any time.

First-Party Analytics

We collect aggregate, first-party usage events (page views and feature actions) through our own endpoint to improve the product: which features help students most and where they get stuck. This analytics contains no document contents or chat transcripts, is not shared with advertising networks, and is not used to build advertising profiles.

Managing your cookies

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can set your browser to block all cookies, but please note that Clevate will not work properly without essential cookies: you will not be able to stay logged in or access your private vault.
